Meet Dr. Watson

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here.

I was born and raised in Mentor, Ohio, and I’m grateful to be back home raising my own family in this community.

I studied nutrition before attending osteopathic medical school, then moved out west for broad, rural training in full-spectrum family medicine—including delivering babies, supporting people as they become parents, and caring for families across generations.

After working in both clinical care and healthcare leadership—across resource-rich and resource-limited settings—I’m excited to build a practice that reflects how I believe care should be: thoughtful, personal, and grounded in relationship.

I’m not a pushy doctor. My role is to understand the science and to truly get to know you. I’m here to help you better understand your health, your body, and your options—so you can make informed decisions that align with your goals.

I value listening, learning, and meeting people where they are.

Family medicine is unique—we care for people of all ages, across all areas of health. We may not be specialists in one narrow field, but we are experts in something just as important: our patients.

Who We Are

Canterbury House is a direct primary care practice in Mentor, Ohio designed to make healthcare feel simple, thoughtful, and easy to access in real life. Through a straightforward monthly membership, patients have direct communication with their doctor, longer visits, and care that doesn’t feel rushed or constrained by insurance rules.

The name Canterbury House comes from the home our family was raised in—originally built by my grandfather for my grandmother, Lucy, where she raised their seven children before my parents later made it our own. It was a place rooted in connection, resilience, and care.

This practice is a return to the kind of medicine that feels personal, steady, and rooted in real relationships—care that values people, meets them where they are, and fits seamlessly into real life.

Patient Reviews

“Dr Watson truly listened to me and got to know me as a person. She''s the first doctor that actually gave me options in my care and offered solutions to problems I brought up. I will definitely recommend her to friends and family looking for a primary care doctor.”

Dr Watson was excellent! Way beyond my expectations. She listened attentively, was so engaging, and truly interested in helping. This was my first visit with her. After 30 years seeing Dr …, who was amazing and recently retired, it was a tall order to fill. She was top notch and I HIGHLY recommend her...wait, maybe not. I want to keep her all to myself - she's that good !

Dr. Watson is a great addition to the staff at ... She's professionally personable and really makes you feel very comfortable with sharing about what's going on with you. I like her very much. The only thing that outweighs her personality is her intellect. She has an ability to share information without speaking down to you.
