Our Team
Restoring peace of mind to healthcare starts with knowing your care team.
Canterbury House is more than a medical practice. It’s a family-built idea that grew from Dr. Sarah Watson’s vision for a different kind of primary care—one where patients are known, relationships matter, and care doesn’t feel rushed or impersonal.
Meet the people who make Canterbury House what it is.
Dr. Sarah Watson, D.O.
Founder and Physician
I trained and practiced in rural Montana, where limited access to specialists meant primary care physicians learned to care for a little bit of everything. That experience shaped my approach to medicine: comprehensive, thoughtful, and focused on the whole person.
Over 15 years in practice, I also took on leadership roles in clinical operations and saw firsthand how the traditional healthcare model can make it difficult to provide the kind of care patients—and physicians—need.
Canterbury House grew from my desire to build something different: a practice centered on relationships, time, and access, where patients are known and care can fit into real life.
Outside of Canterbury House, I spend most of my time with my husband, Levi, and our two young children. We love staying active, spending time outdoors, and taking our dog, Luna, on walks whenever we can.
Rachel Chinchar, R.N.
Nurse, Director of Operations
I’m a Registered Nurse and the Operations Director at Canterbury House, with 15 years of experience in both bedside and outpatient care. I also spent more than eight years working in the insurance industry, where I saw firsthand how complicated the healthcare system can be for both patients and providers.
That combination of clinical and insurance experience is what drew me to Direct Primary Care. I wanted to be part of building a practice where patients have better access to care and where the healthcare experience feels simpler and more personal. At Canterbury House, I care for patients as a nurse while also helping lead the operations behind the scenes.
Outside of Canterbury House, I’m married to my husband, Phil, and we have two elementary-aged kids and a dog named Milo. When I’m not at the office, you’ll usually find me at one of my kids’ sporting events or out enjoying the many community events and activities around Mentor.
Hannah Watson
Patient Experience Manager
My background is a little different from the rest of our team. I have five years of healthcare experience along with a background in education, which has given me a strong appreciation for clear communication and making people feel comfortable.
As the Patient Experience Manager at Canterbury House, I’m often the first face patients see when they walk through our doors. I also handle our marketing, social media, and community outreach, along with patient communication and the day-to-day details that help the practice run smoothly.
Whether I’m welcoming a patient, creating content, connecting with our community, or answering a question, my goal is to make every interaction with Canterbury House feel welcoming, informative, and personal.
Outside of Canterbury House, I spend most of my time with my husband, Craig, and our toddler. We live in Kirtland with our two dogs and cat, and I enjoy spending time with my family and being involved in our local community.
